由中國國務(wù)院僑務(wù)辦公室主辦、美國亞洲文化傳媒集團(tuán)承辦的2013“文化中國－四海同春” 宋祖英美國巡回演唱會，將于2月16日晚在紐約擁有6000座位的無線電城音樂廳拉開帷幕。
New York (CNS) -- Song Zuying, the "Reigning Queen" of Chinese folk songs, will embark on a concert tour of the United States this February. Her New York concert will be held at Radio City Music Hall on the night of February 16.
One of the most renowned musical artists in China, Song has performed at international venues such as the Sydney Opera House, the Vienna Golden Hall, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and London's Royal Albert Hall.
Song, who is of the Miao ethnic minority, will join the American Symphony Orchestra along with other famous Chinese singers such as Sha Baoliang to bring the joy of the Lunar New Year to America.
The concert is part of the "Cultures of China, Festival of Spring" program initiated by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council.
The program has sponsored many elite art troupes to go abroad and promote Chinese culture since 2009.
