廣州公安局14日晚對外通報稱,聲稱要到廣州制造“血案”的湖南籍人員曹某已經向廣州警方自首。
Guangzhou (CNS)-- A man who said there would be "bloodshed" at several schools in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, turned himself in to police on Monday, according to the city's public security bureau.
The man surnamed Cao said he made the threats out of anger over inadequate compensation for a demolition program in his hometown of Chenzhou, in Hunan Province.
After seeing the threats online, the education department of Guangzhou launched emergency measures and tightened security checks at the targeted schools.
The case is being investigated, local police said.
