Guangzhou (CNS) –Famous Hong Kong film director and actor Stephen Chow was elected as a member of Guangdong's Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Monday.
The Tenth Guangdong Provincial CPPCC Standing Committee held its 22nd meeting in Guangzhou yesterday and passed the 11th provincial standing committee member list of 978 members.
Hong Kong actor Kent Tong, military analyst Ma Dingsheng and Wu Xiaoli, news anchor for Hong Kong's Phoenix TV, were also listed.
