Xi'an (CNS）-- The Chinese mainland's first 3D printing photo studio opened in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi Province on Monday.
"It takes minutes to scan a customer's body and about two hours to print, and customers can color the 3D model according to their own preferences," said Feng Hui, the studio's manager.
"It will be pretty awesome to see a mini-me when I get old," said a netizen going by the name "Da Ben Xiong."
Printing a 3D model costs more than a traditional photo. The technology is not recommended for pets and children, as the shooting process demands customers to remain still.
