Beijing (CNS)-- Because of the sluggishness of international trade, China should prepare for an export slowdown in 2013 by focusing on the domestic market, Vice Minister of Commerce Gao Hucheng said at a meeting Saturday.

The resurgence of trade protectionism and the flaring up of border disputes between China and its neighbor countries will all have negative impacts on China's foreign trade next year, said Gao.
