Heavy snow, fog linger in Hebei

20日開始的雪霧天仍在河北徘徊。截至22日9時，河北省境內6條主要高速公路的全部或部分路段因大霧關閉，石家莊機場航班全部延誤，截至11時仍無航班起降。

Shijiangzhuang (CNS) -- Heavy fog and snowstorms triggered by a cold front have lingered in Hebei Province since last Thursday, disrupting traffic and delaying flights.

The local meteorological center has issued three orange alerts for heavy fog, four warnings for icy ground and two blue alerts for a cold wave until Saturday.

Parts of six highways have been closed off and 36 flights have been affected at Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport.

Vegetables prices in the province have also spiked, as the bad weather continues to threaten supply lines and the health of crops. Some green leafy vegetables are up by more than 50 percent.
