Cold weather to hit most of China

中央氣象臺(tái)18日消息，未來(lái)三天，一股強(qiáng)冷空氣將入侵中國(guó)，氣象專(zhuān)家表示，此次降溫“格外明顯”，降幅大、雨雪范圍廣，部分地區(qū)的氣溫將達(dá)到入冬以來(lái)最低。

Beijing (CNS) -- A strong cold front will sweep the country in the coming three days, bringing to some provinces this winter's lowest temperatures so far, the National Meteorological Center said Tuesday.

Temperatures in most regions will drop by six to ten degrees and some regions in northwestern, northern and northeastern China will see a plunge of 12 degrees from Wednesday, the center said. Most of central and eastern China will experience their lowest temperatures this winter between Sunday and Monday, it added.

The cold front will also bring snow to northern China. The center forecast that light snow will fall in Beijing on Thursday and that the temperature will drop to minus 16 degrees Celsius at the weekend, the lowest so far this season.
