12日晚間，諾貝爾文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)獲得者、著名作家莫言獲評(píng)“2012中華文化人物”。其頒授活動(dòng)在河北省廊坊市舉行，莫言上榜但未能出席。作為莫言的講述嘉賓，徐懷中因病也未能出現(xiàn)在當(dāng)晚的頒獎(jiǎng)禮上。中華文化促進(jìn)會(huì)副主席陸文虎宣讀了徐懷中講述詞，披露徐懷中在26年前的一篇評(píng)論中，就已斷言莫言具有大師潛質(zhì)。
Langfang (CNS) -- In a speech delivered Wednesday, Mo Yan's former teacher Xu Huaizhong compared the author to a towering tree deeply rooted in Chinese culture.
Xu, who was Mo's professor at the PLA Art Academy, said he had noticed and praised Mo's artistic potential 26 years ago.
Xu's speech was read by Lu Wenhu, vice chairman of the Chinese Culture Promotion Society, at an award ceremony in Langfang, Hebei Province. Mo was selected as a key cultural figure in 2012, but unable to accept his award in person. Xu was also absent from the ceremony due to illness.
