Beijing (CNS) -- "Chinese Zodiac" will be my last action movie, martial-arts superstar Jackie Chan said at a press conference in Beijing on Tuesday.
The shooting process of the film was quite dangerous, so as my last thriller I don't want to leave with any regrets, said Chan.
Chan said he would have become a legend if he had been killed while shooting a scene in which he rolls down the side of a volcano.
In the film, Chan plays a treasure hunter seeking to repatriate the stone heads of the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac looted by French and British forces from Beijing's Summer Palace during the Opium Wars.
The movie is set to hit theaters next Thursday.
