Chinese dissatisfied with environment, food safety  

社科院報告稱中國公眾對環保、食品安全滿意度低

中國社會科學院5日發布《中國基本公共服務調查報告(2012)》指出，中國公眾對環境保護、食品安全方面基本公共服務的滿意度偏低，城市基本公共服務仍存在地域不均衡、城鄉差距和群際性差異。

Beijing (CNS)-- People in China are not satisfied with the country's work in environmental protection and food safety, according to a survey released by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences on Wednesday.

The survey asked 8,070 citizens to rate their "satisfaction" (from 1 to 5) and "confidence" (from 1 to 100) in six public service categories, which also included healthcare, infrastructure and basic education.

Environmental protection and food safety both scored below 3 for satisfaction.
