三一集團(tuán)起訴美國總統(tǒng)奧巴馬一案出現(xiàn)最新進(jìn)展，28日美國首都華盛頓地方法院舉行首場(chǎng)聽證會(huì)，就案件涉及的法律問題聽取雙方辯論。
Washington (CNS) -- A preliminary court hearing of a suit by China's Sany Group against U.S. President Barack Obama started Wednesday in Washington.
Lawyers for Ralls Corp., a U.S.-based affiliate of Sany Group, and the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) attended the hearing. After two hours of arguments, the judge did not issue a ruling.
On September 28, President Obama issued an executive order to block Sany wind farm projects in Oregon, citing security concerns. Sany then filed a lawsuit against Obama and the CFIUS on October 1.
Sany demands that the U.S. government clarify that our wind farm projects are commercial activities and not threats to security, Wu Jialiang, vice president of Sany and the person in charge of Ralls Corp., said after the hearing.
Sany also demands appropriate financial compensation, said Wu, who added that his company had suffered a direct loss of more than 20 million U.S. dollars.
Wu said they would fight to the end and take the case to the U.S. Supreme Court if they failed in district court.
