中國衛生部副部長黃潔夫22日在廣州表示，中國正在創建符合中國國情的器官捐獻和移植體系，并擺脫對死刑犯器官捐獻的依賴，中國的器官捐獻體系將考慮納入一定的刺激機制，給予一定的人道救助經濟補償。
Guangzhou (CNS) -- China is expected to introduce an incentive mechanism into its organ donation and transplantation system, according to a Ministry of Health (MOH) official at a Thursday meeting in Guangzhou.
The future organ donation system will provide compensation to potential donors in order to raise public awareness, said Huang Jiefu, vice-minister of the MOH.
The future policy incentives may include reduction or exemption of medical expenses for organ donors, and economic compensation will also be provided to their families, Huang added.
Huang said the program will mainly be conducted by the Red Cross of China.
