WZ-10 attack helicopter unveiled in Zhuhai  

“武直-10”直升機珠海航展預演20分鐘

曾被業內人士贊為可排在世界同類直升機前三名的“武直-10”11日飛臨珠海三灶機場上空，為即將開幕的珠海航展進行表演預演。在驚艷亮相后，又返航飛回廣州軍區某部駐地。

Zhuhai (CNS) -- China's new WZ-10 attack helicopter made its first practice run Sunday in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, in preparation for the upcoming airshow.

The domestically designed and produced helicopter flew over Zhuhai Sanzao Airport and accomplished a series of movements during the 20-minute run.

At a net weight of 5,543 kilograms, the WZ-10 is seen as a milestone in China's aircraft development.

The WZ-10 is comparable to its top three counterparts in the world, said Wu Ximing, its chief designer.
