Flight team rescues 8 fishermen  

北海救助飛行隊惡劣天氣中成功救助8名遇險漁民

記者從位于山東煙臺的交通運輸部北海救助飛行隊獲悉，11日上午，中國北部海域遭遇入冬以來強烈的寒潮降溫天氣，遼寧旅順海域的多艘漁船不堪風浪襲擊，遭遇險情。北海救助飛行隊派出專業救助直升機，在大風大浪等復雜環境下成功解救8名遇險人員。

Yantai (CNS) -- The Beihai Rescue Flight Team said on Sunday that it had saved eight fishermen stranded by strong winds and high waves in waters off northern China.

The rescue team, administered by the Ministry of Transport, received an SOS from the Maritime Search and Rescue Center of Liaoning Province at 8:45 a.m. Sunday and dispatched a B-7313 helicopter in less than an hour.

Waves had reached eight meters at the rescue area, the team said.
