甘肅省科技廳7日披露,3年前依托敦煌研究院設立的國家古代壁畫保護工程技術研究中心近日順利通過國家科技部驗收組專家驗收。下一步,將由“科技研發”階段過渡至創造“生產力”的階段。
Lanzhou (CNS) -- The National Research Center for the Conservation of Ancient Wall Paintings has passed examination by the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the results of its research will be put into practice in the next stage, the Science and Technology Department of Gansu Province said on Wednesday.
The research center was set up three years ago by Dunhuang Academy, which has made many achievements in grotto protection and the repair of murals and cultural relics.
In cooperation with the Getty Conservation Institute of the U.S. and the Australian Heritage Council, the academy has prepared a package of scientific procedures and measures for the protection and repair of murals, said Luo Huaqing, deputy-director of the academy.
The academy's research also includes digital technology for the protection of cultural relics, said Zheng Huaping, deputy director of the Science and Technology Department of Gansu.
