中國(guó)國(guó)家古代壁畫(huà)保護(hù)工程技術(shù)研究中心常務(wù)副主任、敦煌研究院常務(wù)副院長(zhǎng)王旭東1日表示，目前中國(guó)面臨大量的古代壁畫(huà)保護(hù)修復(fù)任務(wù)，但是此方面人才匱乏，當(dāng)前最緊迫的問(wèn)題是人才培養(yǎng)。
Shijiazhuang (CNS) -- There is a huge gap between the urgent need for fresco restoration experts and the poor talent pool, so top priority will be given to personnel training, according to an official in Hebei Province on Thursday.
The lack of talent and the complexity of the work represent two challenges facing fresco restoration in China, said Wang Xudong, director of the National Research Center for Conservation of Ancient Wall Paintings.
Wang pointed out that although there are people involved in fresco restoration across the country, the talent pool still falls short. On top of that, training of professionals in this area normally takes five to ten years.
Various forms of recruitment will be adopted to attract talents from local cultural relic bureaus and the rest of the country, according to Liu Zhimin, an official at the Hebei Culture Heritage Bureau.
