中國環(huán)境保護部、發(fā)展改革委、工業(yè)和信息化部及衛(wèi)生部近日聯(lián)合發(fā)布《“十二五”危險廢物污染防治規(guī)劃》。提出到2015年，中國市級以上重點危險廢物產(chǎn)生單位危險廢物基本實現(xiàn)無害化利用處置，設(shè)市城市(包括縣級、地級和直轄)醫(yī)療廢物基本實現(xiàn)無害化處置。
Beijing (CNS) -- China's Ministry of Environmental Protection, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Health jointly released the 12th Five-Year Plan for hazardous waste control on Thursday.
According to the plan, medical waste of Chinese cities, including county-level cities, will be safely disposed of by 2015.
An official from the Ministry of Environmental Protection said a total of 8.4 million tons of hazardous waste was disposed of in 2010, an increase of 180 percent compared to 2006. However, China is still under high pressure to control hazardous waste because of a late start, he added.
The official also said that the Ministry of Environmental Protection will cooperate with other ministries and commissions to improve the legal system and supervision and enhance prevention and control of hazardous waste pollution.
