Documentary tries to show real China

由美國的知名中國問題專家羅伯特·勞倫斯·庫恩聯(lián)合上海外語頻道打造的5集紀(jì)錄片《中國面臨的挑戰(zhàn)》29日登陸滬上。

Shanghai (CNS) -- A five-episode series called "China's Challenges" co-produced by International Channel Shanghai (ICS) and Robert Lawrence Kuhn made its debut during primetime on Monday.

Kuhn, a senior media observer and an experienced China hand, appeared in Shanghai yesterday and told reporters that the series focuses on the feelings of the Chinese people in a period of transformation. Particular attention is given to their livelihoods, he added.

Co-producer and host of the program, Kuhn said he wanted to show viewers the "real" China.
