Guangzhou (CNS) -- Chinese badminton star Lin Dan has said that he plans to pay more attention to his family life.
On Sunday, his birthday, Lin signed 1,014 copies of his autobiography "Until the End of the World" and celebrated with fans at Guangzhou bookstore.
Lin told reporters that he would rest after this year's China Badminton Club Super League Tournament.
Lin says in his autobiography: "Now I am nearly 30 years old and besides being an athlete of the national team, I need my own family. I must spare some time for my family. What I enjoy most now is having a meal with my parents and Fangfang after training. Such family life has given me much warmth."
Lin also wrote that he hopes to share his 12 years of professional life with young athletes and encourage them.
Lin said he hoped to play in the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil.
