HK helps poor students in Guangdong  

香港太平紳士在粵資助特困生 8年四千人次受益

香港太平紳士黃金池8日率香港房屋事務經理協會及房屋經理學會扶貧團抵達廣東德慶布施，向該縣捐贈32萬元人民幣資助556名特困生讀書。

Zhaoqing (CNS) -- A Hong Kong delegation led by Justice of the Peace Wong Kam Chi donated 320,000 yuan (US$50,553) on Monday to Deqing, a county in the prefecture-level city of Zhaoqing, Guangdong Province.

The donation is intended to help 556 impoverished local students complete their studies.

It is the delegation's eighth consecutive year to donate to the county, where it has already helped 4,000 students.
