2012北京國(guó)際設(shè)計(jì)周開(kāi)幕式暨頒獎(jiǎng)典禮于28日晚在北京中華世紀(jì)壇舉行，設(shè)計(jì)周推出的最高榮譽(yù)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)——年度設(shè)計(jì)獎(jiǎng)逐一揭曉。其中，被譽(yù)為“天路”的青藏鐵路擊敗神舟飛船九號(hào)內(nèi)部設(shè)計(jì)，榮獲分量最重的經(jīng)典設(shè)計(jì)獎(jiǎng)。
Beijing (CNS) -- China's Qinghai-Tibet Railway, the world's highest rail system, won a "classic design" award at the 2012 Beijing Design Week which kicked off Friday.
Touted as the "Road to Heaven," half of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway is built at an elevation of about 4,000 meters, crossing mountains, ravines, the Gobi Desert and frozen earth, among other hostile environments.
At yesterday's ceremony the Beijing Olympic Center, Beijing's Dashila Street, Shanghai's Xintiandi Style mall, the alleys of Chengdu and the Suzhou Museum were also awarded.
This year's Beijing Design Week will run till October 6.
