Beijing (CNS) – If the "China road" is compared to a symphony, the main tone of that symphony is walking our own way, said a senior member of a Communist Party think tank at a press conference on Wednesday.
The Communist Party of China, with Marxism as its guide, independently explores appropriate roads of revolution, construction and reform to achieve China's modernization, said Zhang Hongzhi, vice director of the Party Literature Research Office of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.
The most important characteristic of the "China road" is that the CPC adopts basic Marxist principles according to the country's actual conditions, while making its own policies and walking its own road, said Chen Yangyong, director of the first compilation and research department.
A series of books titled "China Road" written by the think tank will be published from 10 perspectives, including the economy, politics, culture and society.
