廣東江門(mén)查獲5個(gè)非法醫(yī)療廢物加工點(diǎn) 21疑犯被抓

記者5日從廣東江門(mén)市委宣傳部獲悉，經(jīng)過(guò)江門(mén)市公安機(jī)關(guān)縝密偵查，成功查獲5個(gè)非法醫(yī)療廢物加工點(diǎn)，21名犯罪嫌疑人被抓獲，該市正全力追查這些加工點(diǎn)醫(yī)療垃圾的來(lái)源和去向。

Jiangmen (CNS) -- Guangdong police have uncovered five illegal medical waste processing sites in Jiangmen and detained 21 suspects, according to the local publicity department on Wednesday.

We are now trying to track down the source of waste, police said, although medical staff from the city's three major hospitals don't appear to be involved.

Police said they received reports in July of a plant collecting used syringes, infusion tubes and other medical waste to make plastic products. An investigation was launched not long after.
