中國農(nóng)業(yè)銀行29日在北京舉行2012年中期業(yè)績發(fā)布會。該行董事長蔣超良在會上表示,當前經(jīng)濟確實面臨“困難的時期”,但中國經(jīng)濟發(fā)展的基本面并沒有改變,影響或促進中國經(jīng)濟持續(xù)穩(wěn)定增長的積極因素沒有發(fā)生逆轉(zhuǎn)。
Beijing (CNS) -- China's economy is facing a difficult period, but positive factors will continue to impact or stimulate the economy's sustainable growth, Jiang Chaoliang, chairman of the Agricultural Bank of China (ABC), said Wednesday at a news conference.
Jiang predicted that China's economy will stabilize and may see slight growth starting from July and August.
According to interim results, by the end of June the bank's asset value amounted to 12.9 trillion yuan, up 10.5 percent from the end of 2011. Its profits hit 80.52 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 20.8 percent.
ABC's non-performing loans remained at 84.5 billion by the end of June. Its non-performing loan ratio stood at 1.39 percent at the end of June, 0.16 percentage points lower than at the beginning of the year.
