記者20日從陜西省延長(zhǎng)縣獲悉，該縣官方就“教育局長(zhǎng)妻子吃空餉”事件通報(bào)稱(chēng)，當(dāng)事人劉玉蓮在調(diào)查期間，已退還未正常上班期間領(lǐng)取的工資福利8萬(wàn)余元人民幣。該縣有關(guān)部門(mén)參照相關(guān)規(guī)定，決定給予其行政警告處分。
Xi'an (CNS) – A woman living in impoverished Yanchang County of Yan'an, Shaanxi Province, has been forced to return more than 80,000 yuan she was paid as a teacher.
The woman had received the salary for three years without actually showing up and doing the job, the local authority said Monday.
The woman also happens to be married to the head of the Yanchang Bureau of Education.
The local authority received reports on August 9 that an area high school had dismissed 59 teachers due to a shrinking number of students, yet the woman had managed to hold on to her employment status.
Since April, the county has enhanced supervision over attendance at state-run working units. 533 employees had been found on the payroll while absent from work.
