Hong Kong (CNS) – Five middle school students from the UK experienced a Hong Kong-style education during a recent summer course provided by the Economic and Trade Office of Hong Kong in London.
"We can meet people from different countries here. I can't find a city with more cultural diversity," said Summaya Mughal, who came from Nottingham and studied at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Ian Headley, who graduated from Brighton College and studied traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, said he loves Chinese food very much.
Non-local students from about 70 countries account for more than 10% of Hong Kong's students, said Michelle Li Mei-sheung, deputy secretary general of the Bureau of Education.
