Dongguan (CNS) -- A series of activities were held Sunday in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, with the theme of attracting young overseas talent.
About 200 young men from Malaysia, Australia, Brazil, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and other regions gathered to look for good mainland investment opportunities.
Jiang Xiaoyang, director of the area foreign affairs bureau, said priority was given to overseas talents who have strong intentions of starting businesses, working in the R&D field, or have interests in local foreign trade.
According to Chen Rikun, an Australian entrepreneur, about 20 Australian businessmen attended the event, each with a strong will to invest in the local market.
Du Jiewei, a Malaysian entrepreneur, said China's industrial technology and product quality continue to improve, which builds their confidence in made-in-China products.
