中國國務院僑辦宣傳司13日在京宣布，將于8月15日至8月29日組派頂尖級京劇藝術大師赴美國、加拿大舉辦京劇巡講。
Beijing (CNS) -- A group of top Beijing opera performers from different schools will tour the US and Canada from August 15 to August 29, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office announced Monday.
Song Guanlin, president of the National Peking Opera Theatre, will make speeches in San Francisco, New York, Toronto and Vancouver. There will also be exhibitions and performances designed to educate overseas audiences about the traditional art form.
The speaking tour is a joint effort between the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and the National Peking Opera Theatre.
