中國移動主導的4G技術TD-LTE已經具備預商用能力，今年將擴大規模試驗范圍，官方的扶持政策也在研究制定之中。
Beijing (CNS) -- Fourth-generation wireless technology TD-LTE is ready to go into commercial use and the Chinese government is making polices to support its further development, said Dai Xiaohui, an official from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on August 2.
Dai said the ministry is determined to promote TD-LTE abroad with a series measures.
On August 1, Minister Miao Wei went to Hangzhou to investigate a trial of TD-LTE use conducted by China Mobile. Miao said developing TD-LTE will attract investment valued in the hundreds of billions of yuan.
China Mobile will expand TD-LTE spot numbers in 14 Chinese cities, and expects to have 270,000 base stations in action by October, said China Mobile's chairman Xi Guohua.
