上海市委宣傳部副部長宗明25日在第十屆中國國際數(shù)碼互動娛樂展覽會(ChinaJoy)高峰論壇上稱,近年來,上海網(wǎng)絡(luò)游戲產(chǎn)業(yè)保持較高速度增長,已成中國網(wǎng)絡(luò)游戲產(chǎn)業(yè)高地。
Shanghai (CNS) -- Shanghai is not only on the online gaming map, the high-speed growth it is maintaining has made it a pillar of the entire sector, said local official Zong Ming who was present at the China Digital Entertainment Expo and Conference (ChinaJoy) on Wednesday.
At present, there are more than 200 local online game enterprises, covering business of R&D, sales and other businesses, with some 60,000 employees involved.
Statistics indicate the city's gaming industry has seen an average annual growth of over 30 percent in recent years, with the sales revenues hitting 13.8 billion yuan in 2011, accounting for one third of the total nationwide.
At the ChinaJoy expo, about 300 enterprises from 16 countries presented over 500 of their products. The countries include the US, South Korea, Spain, Canada, Singapore and Scotland.
