Los Angeles (CNS) -- A fleet of Chinese electric buses will start operation on US streets this October, confirmed Li Ke, senior vice president of BYD Company, in Los Angeles on July 16.
Li said Chinese enterprises not only manufacture sophisticated made-in-China commodities, but more importantly, are working hard to promote Chinese brands.
BYD has been preparing for the entrance of its clean-energy auto to the local market since its US headquarters opened in Los Angeles in October, said Li, and now they have finished a series of technology innovations, are actively bidding for government procurement contracts.
The first clean-energy bus order was from the University of Utah, and nearly ten vehicles will roll onto local streets in October.
