China to enhance supervision over idle land

中國(guó)官方2日在北京稱，為促進(jìn)土地集約利用，中國(guó)將加強(qiáng)對(duì)閑置土地的預(yù)防和監(jiān)管，強(qiáng)化政府在土地開發(fā)中的責(zé)任，促進(jìn)閑置土地的消化利用。

Beijing (CNS) -- China is diectly addressing illegal land hoarding and the delay of land projects by enhancing its supervision of land use.

To prevent land from remaining idle, the government announced its intention to promote more intensive use of this resource, as disclosed by a source from the Ministry of Land and Natural Resources on June 2. Its newly revised approach took effect July 1.

Strengthening the government's responsibility in the area of land exploration, it provides redefined criteria for idle land and tightens up the disposal process for such land.
