曲阜孔廟“詩禮堂儒學系列講座”開講至今4個多月來，已有海內外50多個修學團隊共計1000余游客免費到孔廟詩禮堂體驗過儒學講座，近距離感知孔子。
Jinan (CNS) -- Since February 18, a series of Confucian lectures have been delivered to over 1,000 domestic and foreign tourists who came to Qufu City, the home town of the Chinese master Confucius.
The lectures were held at Shili Hall in the Confucius Temple, free of charge, aiming to offer tourists a chance to listen to the great man's thoughts as they were once personally delivered in this same spot.
It is said Confucius used to teach his son Kong Li rites here, and some emperors of the Qing Dynasty including Kangxi and Qianlong came here just to listen to speeches made by Confucius' descendants.
We aimed to create a comprehensive lecture platform covering the span of his knowledge simply for the public good, said local official Han Fengju. He predicts as summer vacation approaches, they will see an increasing number of tourist-students.
