當(dāng)?shù)貢r(shí)間6月22日上午，經(jīng)過(guò)8個(gè)晝夜的連續(xù)航行，執(zhí)行環(huán)球航行訪問(wèn)及遠(yuǎn)洋實(shí)習(xí)訓(xùn)練任務(wù)的中國(guó)海軍遠(yuǎn)洋航海訓(xùn)練艦“鄭和”艦，成功規(guī)避入海低壓氣旋和今年北大西洋第3號(hào)熱帶風(fēng)暴“克莉斯”的正面影響，順利抵達(dá)北美東海岸。
"Zhenghe," Atlantic (CNS) -- The PLA naval vessel "Zhenghe," on its current mission of global voyage and drills at sea, arrived at the west coast of North America on Saturday morning, local time.
"Zhenghe" set sail on its Atlantic journey on June 15 after a visit to Spain. The journey became challenging when it ran into hurricane "Chris," but the vessel finally reached the west coast safely after adjusting its route.
Despite the intimidating meteorological conditions and seasickness reactions in both Chinese and foreign trainees, the students have found lots of opportunities to practice new skills on their transatlantic journey and are improving their competence in the mapping and surveying of naval vessel maneuvers, astrofix calculation, and marine meteorological analysis and prediction, commented officer Song Hui.
