Beijing (CNS) -- On Tuesday, the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) released its official policy on seeking private capital for the electricity industry.
Industry insiders expect the policy to create a positive investment environment for private capital sources.
Admittance thresholds for wind, solar, geothermal, biomass, small hydro as well as other new and recyclable energy firms will be adjusted in favor of private investors.
The authority will relax their control and supervision over electricity prices and charges to ensure fair markets for private power generation firms.
