5.4-magnitude earthquake in Xinjiang   

新疆輪臺(tái)縣5.4級(jí)地震

據(jù)中國(guó)地震局網(wǎng)站消息，今日凌晨05時(shí)51分，新疆維吾爾自治區(qū)巴音郭楞蒙古自治州輪臺(tái)縣發(fā)生5.4級(jí)地震。

Urumqi (CNS) -- An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale hit Luntai County of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region at 5:51 a.m. (Beijing time) today, according to the China Earthquake Network Center.

The quake's epicenter was located at 42.2 degrees north latitude and 84.2 degrees east longitude, the center said. The focal depth was 20 kilometers.

No casualties or property losses have been reported.

Luntai County is located in northern Xinjiang between Tianshan Mountain and the Tarim Basin.
