BOC’s Taipei branch approved   

中國銀行證實中行臺北分行營業許可獲批

總部位于北京的中國銀行7日向記者證實，臺灣金融主管機關已于當天核定中行臺北分行營業許可相關事項。

Beijing (CNS) -- The Taiwan financial authority has approved a business license for the Taipei branch of the Bank of China (BOC), the BOC headquarters in Beijing confirmed on Thursday.

BOC will become the first mainland bank to open a branch on the island.

The Bank of Communications also submitted a license application, which was granted simultaneously, according to an insider.
