上海市第二中級人民法院5日對74歲的國企女高管吳小莉被控貪污4600萬元人民幣一案作出一審判決：吳小莉被判處無期徒刑。
Shanghai (CNS) -- Former state-owned enterprise executive Wu Xiaoli, 74, was sentenced to life imprisonment for corruption by the Shanghai No. 2 Intermediate People's Court on Tuesday.
Wu was charged with embezzling 46 million yuan (US$7.3 million) while working as legal representative and later general manager of Shanghai Guanxin Construction Supervision.
The court considered Wu's admission of guilt and the fact that she had returned the embezzled money before handing down the verdict, which includes the confiscation of her personal property amounting to 500,000 yuan.
