香港特區財政司司長曾俊華3日在其博客上撰文稱,電動車是未來世界的交通運輸潮流之一,到年底,香港可望實現約20公里范圍內就有一個快速充電站。
Hong Kong (CNS) -- By the end of the year Hong Kong is expected to expand its electric vehicle (EV) charging station network, with any two neighboring stations no more than 20 km from each other, wrote Financial Secretary Tsang Chun-wah on his blog Sunday.
EVs will become a global trend, and Hong Kong will positively promote the use of the new vehicles and keep improving its security and technology standards, said Tsang.
At the end of 2009, Hong Kong only had 16 EVs, Tsang pointed out, while by the end of last April the number had grown to 313.
Tsang also announced that EVs will be prioritized in the fiscal budget plan when the government buys new cars.
