Moscow (CNS) -- Open Joint Stock Company Gazprom will negotiate on gas supply with its Chinese partner during Putin's visit to China in June, revealed the company's chief executive Alexei Miller on Wednesday.
Putin is attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit from June 5 to 7, which will bring Sino-Russian energy talks back to the center of media attention.
China is in great demand for Russia's natural gas in the long run, said Miller, and the only remaining problem between the two countries is fixing prices, since Russia has already made full preparations to lay gas pipelines to China.
Russia expects to supply 30 billion cubic meters of natural gas to China every year in the future, according to RIA Novosti.
