CSR makes breakthrough in high-speed train motors  

中國(guó)南車成功研制出新型動(dòng)車組“心臟”系統(tǒng)

永磁動(dòng)車組是目前中國(guó)正在研發(fā)的新型動(dòng)車組。永磁動(dòng)車組使用的600kW永磁同步牽引電動(dòng)機(jī)30日在中國(guó)南車株洲所研制成功，這標(biāo)志著中國(guó)最大功率永磁同步牽引電機(jī)成功完成試制。

Beijing (CNS) -- The Zhuzhou Institute of China South Locomotive & Rolling Stock Corporation Limited (CSR) on Wednesday successfully completed a permanent magnet synchronous motor (600kW) for China's new breed of high-speed trains.

The motor system is the heart of a train because it decides the dynamic, power consumption, and control capacity of the vehicle, according to experts at the institute.

Permanent magnet synchronous motors are stable, efficient, light, space-saving, quiet and reliable, and save 10 percent more energy than traditional motors.

The Zhuzhou Institute has been carrying out the research and development program since 2003.
