Panda couple set to visit Paris

Chengdu (CNS) -- Panda couple Yuan Zai and Huan Huan will fly to the ZooParc de Beauval in Paris for a 10-year China-France cooperation program on January 15, aboard an exclusive Boeing 777 airplane offered by the FedEx Corp, according to a press conference held at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding on Tuesday.

The 3-year-old VIPs will attend the commemoration event for the 48th anniversary of the China-France diplomatic relationship scheduled for January 27, a person in charge at the base said.

The French zoo has built a special mixed Chinese-French style pavilion for the eastern guests, which can cover all purposes, such as rest, games and even giving birth.
