Toronto (CNS) - Chinese Canadian Chen Guozhi, the world men's figure skating champion thinks that he receives despises in Canada.
The Canadian media gloated over the successes of Kurt Browning and Elvis Stojko when they reached the top spot in the skating world representing Canada in the 1990s, Chen pointed out. Chen is a multiple winner of the world title and he has also broken related world records in the sport.
Chen expressed his vexation,"If my parents had not come to Canada as Chinese immigrants, this sort of thing would never have happened. My parents would not have needed to sacrifice so much for my training and we would also have the respect of society."
