China protests U.S. sanctions on 12 Chinese enterprises

China expressed strong protest against the U.S. sanctions on 12 Chinese enterprises, Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) spokesperson said at a regular news briefing on Thursday.

The spokesperson said that the sanctions against Chinese companies are harmful to global supply chains' security and global economic recovery.
