Chinese telecommunication services provider Huawei Technologies Co on Thursday launched an OpenLab in Malaysia to help the Southeast Asian nation's digital economy grow.
The lab serves as a center for innovation, research and digitalization, the company said on its WeChat account.
Huawei also signed memoranda of understanding with several enterprises in Malaysia, as well as University Malaysia Sabah, to work with local talent in areas such as research and development and Internet security, the post showed.
