China Unicom's move to set up operating centers with domestic Internet giants has no relation to its mixed-ownership reforms, the major telecom operator said.
The firm said it launched operating centers with Tencent Holdings and Alibaba Group Holding in May. Both centers are still in their initial stages, which will not affect the daily operation of the company.
