The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) received a top-notch credit rating from S&P Global Ratings with a stable outlook on Tuesday, according to a statement the AIIB sent to the Global Times.
The "AAA/A-1+" rating reflected the agency's opinion that the "AIIB will establish a track record and significantly enhance its operational setup" as well as its "very strong business profile and extremely strong financial profile" over the next three to five years, said the statement.
The AIIB was also granted a top credit rating from Moody's Investors Service in June.
