    2014 Brazil World Cup gets help from China's subway trains and LED screens

    Chinese national soccer team did not compete in the 2014 Brazil World Cup, however, products made in China such as LED screens and bullet trains played their parts in the soccer kingdom.

    While China-made LED screens were visible in each match and solar energy equipment powered the advertisement boards, bullet trains made by China linked the main stadium and host cities in Brazil, carrying nearly 82 percent of the urban rail transport capacity in Rio de Janeiro.

    The official manufacturer of Fuleco, mascot of the Brazil World Cup, is an overseas subsidiary of a company from East China's Hangzhou city. The honor meant all the related toys were all made in China.

    Besides score boards and soccer balls, caxirola – an instrument used by fans to encourage players was also made in China.

    2014 Inchon Asian Games use Chinese fitness equipment

    Training equipment from China helped athletes from Asian countries warm up before the competitive matches during the 2014 Inchon Asian Games from Sept 19 to Oct 4 in Inchon city.

    "The equipment can help athletes maintain a high level of competitiveness, and also meet their demand for recovering strength after matches. That's why the equipment was chosen to serve during the games," said Ding Lirong, head of the equipment's provider Impulse Group.

    2012 London Olympic witnesses fireworks and apparels from China

    While China ranked second in the medals tally in the 2012 London Olympics, products such as fireworks and apparels made by Chinese companies also captured the honors during the Olympics.

    Fireworks made in China lit up the sky during the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics on Friday night.

    About 11,000 suits, provided to American, British athletes and officials of the Organizing Committee of London Olympics and others at the opening ceremony, were made by a Chinese apparel company in Yantai city, East China's Shandong province.

    Up to 65 percent of the foreign made licensed products, which accounted for 90 percent of the total licensed products, were made by Chinese companies.

    Besides, 627 kinds of souvenirs, including mascots and London bus, out of nearly 900 kinds of souvenirs were made by Chinese companies.
