Stock market circuit-breaker mechanism will be suspended from Friday, China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) announced on Thursday.
Stock trading in China was halted twice this week after heavy selling under the circuit-breaker mechanism.
The circuit-breaker rule was not the major reason for the slumps, but it has led to more negative than positive effects, according to the CSRC.
