Sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture, the 18th China Agricultural Products Processing Industry Investment and Trade Fair will showcase the latest developments in the industry and enhance trade in high-quality products, the ministry said.
The fair, from Sept 6 to 8, will also promote international exchanges on processing agricultural products, and will invite more international companies.
More than 80 companies from 26 countries and regions have already agreed to take part,and more than 5,000 companies from 30 provincial areas will also be present.
A forum on the development of the agricultural products processing industry under the Internet Plus initiative will take place, according to the ministry.
